How to enter
Simply write a maximum of 500 words on a favourite part of your holiday with Blue Chip Holidays. It can be about any part of your holiday, e.g. the best beach, best meal, funniest moment, best view – the list is endless.
As a guideline please include details of:
- Your favourite day out, adding in details of your destination
- What you did when you got there
- Your highlight of your day
- What recommendations you would make if you were to go again (such as places to eat, best spots for a picnic, must do/see things while you’re there, things to avoid)
- Who your day out would be perfect for (families, couples, friends, visitors with dogs)
- Which property you stayed in
- The time of year you visited the region

Each month we’ll pick a winner and the best article will appear on the front page of our website. At the end of the year we’ll review the best twelve articles and one winner will be chosen to receive the fabulous £500 voucher towards a holiday here in the beautiful South West.

Terms and conditions: All entries will be reviewed by our panel of judges. Submissions may be used by Blue Chip Holidays on its website and articles entered for the competition may be published in other publications. Blue Chip Holidays will retain the copyright on all pieces entered into the competition. Blue Chip Holidays reserve the right to edit articles where it is deemed necessary. The winners of the monthly competition will be announced at the end of the second week of each month and they will be notified directly. Winners articles will appear on the website blog each month. The overall winner will be announced in December 2011. No cash alternative will be available. Images submitted must belong to the entrant. We will take it that any image sent to us has approval for publication.
