By Foot - Pedestrian signs will direct you to Towan Beach via Beach Road if you wish to avoid steps or you can get through to Towan Beach via the green area called Killacourt - where there are some quite steep steps down to the beach.
What you will find
Situated on Towan Beach Promonade in the centre of Newquay, the Blue Reef Aquarium. Is a great place to visit, the exhibitions are amazing from the first “Bass wave machine tank” to the hundreds of local marine species, many caught on or around the beaches of Newquay. The underwater tunnel and Shark feed are fantastic.
Education is the theme at Blue Reef Aquarium, with many talks and feeding time demonstrations that give you an insight to the many creatures and how they live. Look out for the Octopus that can take the lid off a jar to get to its feed!
On site there is a great gift shop with many interesting gifts and toys and also a well stocked café serving a cooked menu, drinks and snacks.

How To Get There
By Car – Follow the A392 East out of Newquay. Look for the A30 signs and follow signs for the Eden Project. There is ample free parking at Eden and easy access to the entrance via the footpaths or via the free Eden bus services.
By Bus – Take the Western Greyhound route 527 from the centre of Newquay, this service runs throughout the year.

By Car – The zoo is just off the A3075 Edgcumbe Road, Newquay. There is a council owned car park adjacent to the zoo with a cycle rack and some disabled parking near the entrance.
By Bus – Take the Western Greyhound route 587 from the centre of Newquay,which runs throughout the year. Sunday buses run at slightly different times.
By Foot - The Zoo is a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Look for the free map from the Tourist Information Office on Marcus Hill.

Waterworld is an award winning attraction, it was the first in the South West to be awarded the ASA Aquamark and has also been granted the ASA Premier Scheme for teaching and coaching of swimming .
It is a fantastic place to visit because of the wide range of activities it offers for all ages and members of the family.
Waterworld is famous for its Tropical Fun Pool with water cannon, tipper, flumes, slides, erupting volcano, spitting snakes & giant crocodile. There’s so much fun to be had it’s a great addition to your stay.

Newquay Zoo has made amazing strides in recent years winning the coveted Green Tourism Gold Award and working with other Zoo’s on major conservation projects. It is also part of the Cornwall College campus offering education to young Zoologists of the future. Home to some of the world's rarest animals such as Warty Pigs, Spotted Deer and weird looking birds like the Bleeding Heart Dove, explore the fascinating Philippines on the family activity trail around Newquay Zoo. Discover more about the animals, plants and everyday items (unusual recipes, dances and strange customs, history, postage stamps) from one of the overseas conservation project areas.

Dairyland – The Bull Pen
How To Get There
By Car – Follow the A392 East out of Newquay and take the A3075 at Quintrell Downs following brown and white signs to Dairyland. It’s a 10 minute drive from the centre of Newquay.
By Bus – Take the Western Greyhound route 527 from the centre of Newquay. Which runs throughout the year. Sunday buses run at slightly different times. It calls at Dairyland on its way to the Eden Project and takes about 15 minutes.
What you will find
Although Dairyland Farm World is closed for the winter until the end of March the all weather play rooms known as the “Bull Pen” are open Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays 10- 5pm all winter and 7 days during the February half term.
There are a host of activities for Children of all ages from ball pools to slides and climbing frames. For the older ones there is the Adventure Zone where they can climb, slide, jump and run including the white knuckle drop slide, Mums and Dads can join in too.
In total there is 12,000 square feet of indoor area to let the kids blow off some steam and keep them happy on a cold or wet day during the winter.
